Happy Birthday -- little Gisellie!

You're 21! It's your "coming of age!"
It's time to turn to a brand, new page....
You're my baby -- my youngest -- oh where did time go?
Tears sting my eyes, because deep down I know.
From that beautiful, chubby, happy, easy going child,
To a youngster, full of ambition and ideas...not always mild.
Then came the adolescent, who rode a bike and spent time
With Nikki her friend and LaRetta -- the hours content and sublime.
Of course, there were proms, dances, drill team and track,
Winning Sterling Scholar -- you were smart as a tack!
Time sped away...out of my control...it seems
You were in college and shows and choosing the man of your dreams.
You came into my life and brought such happiness and love,
You were surely sent straight from heaven above!
Happy Birthday - Gisellie Girl -- I love you so much,
Keep being you and smiling, and so many lives you will touch!
Lovies - Moom

Thanks everyone...you are all awesome. Mommy, you are amazing! I am crying sitting here reading this. Just the fact that you would put so much time and effort into creating not just a blog, but a beautiful poem for me illustrates what an amazing mother you are. Thank you so much for raising me right...it has affected every major decision I have made in my life. Because of this, I can credit so much of my happiness to you. I love you Mommy!

Mom, you have to continue blogging despite the lack of comments. I will do my best effort to keep you on this train, because I find great enjoyment in reading about the many adventures of you and Dad. It really is fun to see the documentation of the things you guys are doing. You cannot stop! We love you and love your posts!

Seems like the "I'm not going to blog because nobody posts comments" remark would be something that I would say and my mother would let me know that is not how we act. We LOVE your blog and check it almost every day, and if you will review your blog history, you will note that I have left numerous comments. Additionally, Olivia does not even have internet which makes leaving comments a little tough. If you all can't play nicely with your blogs then I will take them all away. I LOVE YOU AND YOUR BLOG!!! KEEP POSTING.

What a sweet poem. I am so grateful for not only marrying the girl of my dreams but to be a part of such a wonderful family. I have come to know each of you more and more and I just love you all. Thanks for that poem!
