The big kids make the family recipe of "slab candy" and compete to see whose batch "breaks" the quickest or who is the best beater. It's always a good contest!

Noah really, truly is a farm boy. Look at the happiness of that boy with HIS puppy!

Mia and Noah love to keep Grandma's house tidy!

Luke and Tess try their hand at the candy making process!

Ellie also get in the candy making business to see if she's as good as her Mom.

There's the joy of being seated at the "kids table!"

The "adult" table is such a peaceful place to be!

Don't forget the 3:00 Am shopping to get us all in a happy mood!

There's nothing like napping with someone you love to recover from the lost sleep!

Giselle receives instruction well from Mom. One can always improve their candy making skills. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend with lots of family togetherness, husbands and wives crafting new and beautiful decor, good food, a lot of laughter and a whole lot of cooperation with the family pictures and all. The only thing that would make our lives any better is to have all of our kids much, much closer so we could see them much, much more often! We love you all - thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Thank you so much for hosting such a wonderful weekend and holiday! I truly cannot belive you put that picture of me sleeping on there, it is horrible! We had such a great time and cannot wait for Christmas to get here so we can do it all over again! We love you and appreciate all you do for us!
What do you mean horrible? I thought it was the cutest thing ever...my baby asleep with her baby!
I just don't know how you find time to do everything you do. I was so surprised to find an update of the weekend already! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the fun this weekend. You spend the holidays working SOOO hard for all of us to enjoy ourselves that I am sure you are exhausted by the time we leave. We had a wonderful time, as always, and can't wait until Christmas. We love you and thank you!
I love the sleeping picture of Chelsea... That is one of my favorites... It looks like you guys had so much fun... I can't believe you went shopping at 3am... That takes some serious dedication...
Thank you for such a fun Thanksgiving! The food was amazing, and the company was even better... We love getting together with everyone, and we wish that EVERY weekend could be a holiday (but without you having to cook and do so much work)...better yet, let's just get everyone settled in Woodland so we can party every weekend!
Looks like you guys had a very nice Thanksgiving! So I was wondering, who won the candy contest? I am pretty sure I have an idea!!! One of these years I think I will get the motivation to go shopping on Black Friday as well!
ummmmmm...pretty sure you didn't tell me that you were making candy. I would have stuck around! My candy making skills are non-existent! I wish I knew how to make divinity. That is my fav! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun!

Looks like you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving. That is neat that your whole family was able to come. I thought that it was bad enough that my mom and I went shopping at 4...but you guys definately had us beat.
Mom, you always make Thanksgiving wonderful! Sorry I had to give up on the toffee making at 2 a.m. I'm not sure how you have unlimited energy to take care of so many people. Thank you.
Looks like you all had a great time--I hope that you get all of your kids to move closer to home too. I LOVE living near my parents (and Eric's)!
Sorry that I have not commented. As usual you made the holidays perfect! I love coming "home" even though I live 2 miles away! All of our candy is gone by the way!
