My Beautiful Mother......I love her so dearly and am so thankful to have been blessed enough to be born to her. She has set such an example, been so giving, taught me so much, and loved so well. Today I am very, very thankful for her inner strength and stamina and the fact that she was able to survive her four-hour surgery. I am still hoping and praying so hard for her to have the continued strength to overcome and go on! Not only is she physically beautiful, but also a beautiful person inside with the unreal ability to be friends to so many people.

This seems like a random picture, but I really like the feeling. These were our table accents for Easter/spring. I love the grass and the analogy of new life and the eternal hope we all have for growth. Luke and Noah helped plant the grass and then tended it each day through the sprouting, growing period. It was a great lesson for them to learn about life, even though they don't really know that's what they were learning.

I wish I had pictures of Giselle's concert, but picture-taking is not allowed during the perormance. Uncle George, Aunt Judy Ann, Donni, Richard and Duncan came to the performance on Saturday night. Giselle came up to visit with us afterward and Duncan grabbed her from the back and gave her the best hug in all the world! It was so cute and touching to me that I hurriedly grabbed my camera and took advantage of the photo op! By the way, the concert was fantastic and thanks to all of you who were able to attend and support Giselle. Scott (the director) called Giselle out onstage each night and introduced her to the audience as UVU's first Ballroom graduate. I know I'm being prideful here, but the whole Latin Medley they are taking to Blackpool to compete is choreographed around Giselle and David Moon! It is a very exciting piece of work! Giselle is in Baltimore right now, presenting her research on "Foxtrot Then and Now: What Does It Mean to Ballroom Dance Academia?"

These are two of the cutest little boys in the world! They are always so excited to help fix dinner or participate in a new experience. They were putting the fruit kabobs together and it was very intricate work to get them on the stick in the correct order. Luke, of course, has to be very precise. Noah, has his own set of rules, which happen to be what he wants them to be at the time he decides!

Happy Birthday Luke! Richard Luke Gunnerson - our first grandson!
At birth, so big and handsome...our hearts he won!
He's easy and happy and and oh, so very bright!
He's a wonderful big brother, son and grandson...a pure delight!
Happy birthday, Luke! We love you so much!
Sunday was Luke's birthday and he was so cute to design and create his own invitations, help prepare dinner and set the table, wish everyone great wishes for their "Heavy, heavy hangover," and just be a very mature, perfect child!

I love it when you find time to update, Mom. You have such a way with words, and no one else can say things quite as beautifully as you can. I wish we could've been there to provide support for all the many things going on up there. We love you and miss you and wish we were able to see you soon!
