The Louvre was amazing with all the famous artwork I have seen in all of the humanities and art 1010 classes I've sat through for years. I wish I would have listened better so I knew more of the history of the works. Dad is ready to begin his "Bourne" stunts!

Okay, the 50 mile walk to the Eiffel Tower was definitely worth it! There was some random band playing and the dynamics of the construction made the sound unreal! It was very cool!

"Big Ben" is way more impressive in real life than in any picture. All the historic buildings are so impressive and help to have a real respect for the past.

Greenwich Naval Observatory was so interesting. It was a rainy day in London Town, but we still had a wonderful day "Singin' in the Rain" while we saw all of the scientific equipment that took years to develop in order for us to simply tell time, know about latitude and longitude and navigation.
The Admiralty Arch is on the other end of the road to Buckingham Palace. We didn't get to see the Queen or Camilla or Charles, but it was still very interesting!
No matter how beautiful all of the sights were and how impressive anything was, nothing was as fun as seeing Giselle compete and seeing our little girl out in front dancing her heart out! It was also wonderful to arrive back at the hotel and be informed that we had a new grandson! Good work Patrice and Allen! Then driving back into Woodland was one of the most beautiful sights of all. Life is beautiful, no matter where you are!

Woo, hoo an update! I do understand that you have been a little busy, but I am very glad that you have had a minute to post some of your fun vacation pictures. I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures and hear all about your travels. You and dad look so cute in those pictures. I especially like the one at the Greenwhich clock. You look cute in your jeans and sneakers and your hair looks cute all curly. Have a good weekend in Vegas and kiss that little Evan for me.
Your pictures are amazing. I am glad that you all had a good time. I am very jealous. I want to go to Europe so very badly. My father was actually born in....(dare I admit this!)France, and lived there til he was 5. Glad that you are back in the US, be safe traveling to and from Vegas!
Looks like you guys had a real good time. Glad that you're back home.
Wow,how did you fit time in to update your blog in between the airport and 1-15 to Vegas. You are amazing. I think it sounds like a once in a lifetime opportunity. Super glad that you are back and hopefully we will get to spend some time together this summer. That is if it EVER turns summer!
Looks like an amazing trip! I won't be able to judge the pageant for you. I am so sorry. It would have been fun. I haven't judged a pageant for years!
Thanks for thinking of me.
I don't know where my comment went, Mom. I left a very long one and I was one of the first, but it must not have posted. I am very jealous of your trip, even more so since I heard about it first-hand. It was so great to have you guys be able to stop and see us.
What a great experience! Those pictures are amazing. I am so happy that you guys had such a wonderful trip and were able to see all that history! (I just wanted to comment on how cute your denim jacket is Billie Sue!)
It sounds like your trip was pretty amazing. We were counting down the days until it was over and you could come and see our new boy. Thank you very much for coming down and taking good care of us. We are still eating meals that you made for us. We can't wait to come up and see you in a few weeks so we can see all of your pictures and more stories about the trip.
