These Are the Good Times.....

We are so happy! Evan and his parents have moved home to Utah!!! As you can see, Evan is very happy to be living here and close enough to hang out with his cousin, Eli. They will be good buds and able to do so many things together. We are so happy to have the McNeil's return home and be close enough to see them and kiss the little face of Evan! Eli grows a little tired of all Grandma and Grandpa's kisses sometimes, so now he can share!

Earl has embarked on yet another challenge. He is going to tame/break he and Rick's girls. He got Rick's horse out the other day, and she loved it! The boys helped by currying and petting. Later, after I didn't see -- (that Grandpa!) he got the saddle on her and took the two boys for a little ride!!!

Today was a huge day for a Grandma and Grandpa! Our oldest little granddaughter played in her first piano recital! Both she and Tess are taking lessons, but Tess has a different teacher than Ellie. Ellie was so nervous, I thought she was going out of her mind before she got to play. You never would have known it when she got up to play. She played very well, was very poised and loved what she was doing. We were all so proud of her! It is with great pride that Dad and I see our little ones, little ones growing and gaining skills and becoming great individuals. Thanks for sharing the day with us and for being such great kids!

We love that you are a part of our lives and there to share in these precious moments with us. I thought she was going to cry when she introduced herself and then she sat down and nailed it! Love the candy making this evening too-you forgot to take pictures of us and our masterpiece:)

What a great update! Our kids are lucky to have grandparents that love them so much and play such a big part of their lives. I only wish we lived closer!

Thanks for the sandwiches today, it really just shows me what an amazing and wonderful mother you are to quickly pack us a lunch for our trip home. You are the best, Mom! I love you!

How awesome! I can't believe Ellie had a recital, and I'm so glad I finally got to see her hair, since her mother has been holding out on me. The babies are getting way too big, and they look like they're having so much fun together living in the promised land. I'm glad Dad is breaking those horses, I always felt sad that Sassy was never broken.

I love and miss you, Mommy. We were going to surprise everyone and come home for Thanksgiving, but with tax it was over 700 dollars for us to come up...we will sadly have to wait for Christmas as planned. Can't wait to see you!!!

These really are the good times. The boys have been so excited to go out and work with Grandpa to train Lucy. I am glad that they get to have wonderful experiences like this with their grandparents. We love you. Thanks for putting up with us.

I'm glad Evan was looking so smiley in that picture. It just shows how much he loves to be near his grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. We are sooo happy to be here too!
