There is absolutely nothing in the world like witnessing the birth of a new baby. Each time one of my daughters share this experience with me, I am truly amazed at the wonder of it all. This is surely the ultimate plan -- one only a Supreme Being could conceive -- it is so miraculous and beautiful! Baby Jack was no less of a wonder. Both Chelsea and Max worked together so patiently and persistently to bring him into this world. Max was undoubtedly overwhelemed with joy, love and gratitude at seeing his perfect little son.

Jack's little mop of hair -- all curly and wet -- was measured, along with all of the other fussing and checking he received from the medical professionals, while we all sat smiling and staring at him.

Here is the new mommy admiring her beautiful new baby. It is so cute to listen to her coo and talk loving, soothing words to him. How easy and natural this comes to our daughters.

Introducing the newest, little complete family -- Max, Chelsea and Jack Johnson. I am taking the liberty of announcing the middle name that has FINALLY been selected! It is ROBERT! Jack Robert Johnson. I feel this is such a tribute to Chelsea's older brother Robert. We are all so thankful for his influence on our family through the years and feel like we are better individuals for the lessons we have learned from him. The honor of having Chelsea and Max choose this name for their baby is such a heartfelt honor. Thank you - Max and Chelsea.

Baby Jack is even more beautiful today than last night. He is a calm, content, quiet baby and fits perfectly with his two beautiful parents. Thank you such a beautiful addition to our family!

Thank you for the wonderful post, Mom. It means so much to me that you and Dad came down and were able to share in the miracle with us. I'm so happy and thankful you're here to still help me! We love you so much.
Holy cow...he's so cute. And that hair is amazing! He looks like he's a couple months old already! I LOVE the name! Jack Robert Johnson is perfect...I love our Rob so so much, and I know I'm going to love Jack Robert just as much.
I love him already!
Mom, I am so impressed with your post. I looks awesome. Being there when Chelsea had Jack reminds me of how blessed we all are to have children and how unbelievably strong you are to have done it six times. You are truely an inspiration to all of us!

So very exciting for your family. My parents always say "I wish we would have skipped the kids and gone straight for the grand kids!" I think it is so great that your family is so supportive of each other. My family couldn't stay with me through the labor process...or they would have been stuck at the hospital for 3 days. I'm so glad everything went so great for Chelsea! Congrats!!!!
((I just took Billie Jo off my list of blogging friends. So sad. Please tell her to start another one.))
Love the post! He is so cute. You are a very lucky Mom and Grandma!
Congratulations Billie Sue and Earl! He is such a cute newborn! I don't know Chelsea very well, but from reading your post I gather she is a wonderful mom already. What a supportive & amazing family you have!
Mom, now your grandchildren number the same as your children. I know that dad is sad that he will not have as many grandchildren as his parents, but you guys are truly so blessed by the ones you have. And who knows, maybe we will all suprise you and have 7 kids each!
