I have a family here on earth...
They are so good to me!
I want to spend my life with them through all eternity!
They are so good to me!
I want to spend my life with them through all eternity!
Meet my beautiful grandchildren...from left to right...Rajko-2-(Giselle's), Ellie Jo-11 1/2- (Billie Jo's), Emmie Sue-4 months- (Allen's), Noah-5 1/2-(Olivia's), Jack-31/2- (Chelsea's), Mia-nearly 6- (Billie Jo's), Evan-nearly 3- (Allen's), Elijah-nearly 3- (Olivia's), Tess 7 3/4- (Billie Jo's), Evie-6 weeks- (Billie Jo's), and Luke-9- (Olivia's).
I hope it is quite a while before our family is complete. We LOVE our little grandchildren and want more, More, MORE! At one point, when it seemed like we were at a standstill, Earl was offering money to our kids if they would get pregnant! He is a fun, loving, kind grandpa. I love the grandkids so much--they get sick of me kissing them and telling them how much I love them.
They are good to indulge me when I tell them I want pictures. We usually have Sunday dinners together...standing invitation. Last Sunday, I text everyone and asked them to have the grandkids ready for pictures--not anything fancy--I just needed a picture of all my beautiful little ones. We will have little Liv or Scarlet or Lydia sometime the first part of May, but I needed a picture to put in an Easter frame for now. Everyone was very cooperative and I think we got some cute pictures. In fact, after we had the group shot, they were all willing and eager to have little shots taken of what "they" wanted.
Rajko was more than willing to sit down and say, "Cheese!" He has to be just like all the other kids and do and say what they do and say. He runs and chases and acts just like the other kids...and thinks he is just as big as they are too!
Jack loves living in Woodland and being with all the cousins. Whether he is playing in the day with Rajko, or with the whole group on Sunday, he fits right in and becomes part of the group...like he has always been here! WE ARE SO THANKFUL HE IS HERE!
Evan and Emmie are such cute, loving siblings. Emmie is beginning to enjoy observing the cousins, especially Evan and the boys rough-necking and making all sorts of noises!
Mia and Noah are best friends. Because of birthdates, Mia was able to go to kindergarten and Noah was not. It has been difficult for Noah to see Mia move on without him. He REQUESTED this picture and wants her to be "his" BFF! Mia is so good-natured, she is willing to cooperate even if "it was so embarassing!"
Eli didn't care who was in the picture with him...he just wanted a picture! Don't you just love this little guy's smile? He always has a smile (even though his Mother says he is a bully!). I love his broad little shoulders and his willing nature. While he may look like a McNeil, I see his Dad...with his smile and pleasant nature and just the way he carries himself.
Mia, Ellie, Tess and Evie are the Buti"ful" sisters...according to Grandma...and I am right! I was worried for a while that they would be the only girls in the family, but with Emmie and soon Liv, Scarlet or Lydia...we are not letting the boys stay too far ahead!
Jack and Eli wanted their turn to have a picture with Miss Mia.
It is normal to say who you think a baby looks like. When Evie was born, I didn't think she looked like any of the girls or her Mom or her Dad. Six weeks later, I think she and Mia look a lot alike. They are both so cute!
Elli, Luke and Tess are the three "big" kids. I swear...this looks like one of those pictures out of the movie magazines with the beautiful stars!
Obviously, I love these kids and am proud of them. I won't even begin to tell how they play the piano, violin, guitar, dance, sing, win spelling bees, play basketball, farm, scout and achieve at each task handed to them. I've always heard the only thing better than being a parent is being a grandparent. I can't really say I completely agree with that philosophy, but I will say that grandparenting only builds upon the joys of parenting.
Families can be together...forever,
Through Heavenly Father's plan.
I always want to be with my own family...
And the Lord has shown me how I can -
The Lord has shown me how I can!
Through Heavenly Father's plan.

And the Lord has shown me how I can -
The Lord has shown me how I can!

They turned out really great! I stole the picture of Evan and Emmie for my facebook. I'm just sad that the picture shoot didn't involve horses, or a football game.
What a beautiful bunch of kids. Of course you are proud of them! Being a grandma is the best and you should have gone on about all their accomplishments, because we grandmothers are allowed to do that. You sound just like me, when it comes to hugs and kisses, I can't get enough, and although mine are all boys, they are pretty good about giving them. You have a lovely family.
What beautiful kids! Sorry I have only contributed one beautiful child to the mix...that'll change eventually, though! Thanks for helping us document the growth of our (your) beautiful family. Your sweet words are always so beautiful to read as well. Love you, Grandma!
Yeah for photo shoots. I love how much you documents the kids. I will be on top of that one day, just not in the near future!
They are a beautiful, smart, talented, fun, WILD bunch! We are so thankful to be where we are surrounded by grandparents and cousins. It really is what Rick and I have always wanted for our kids. Thanks for helping whenever I need you, and for spoiling the grandkids like only Grandma can!
THIS is the reason we are back. We are loving every minute of being here!
