There is a time and season for everything....

It has begun....the wrestling match between Jack Frost and Sunshine! Jack seems to be winning right now, but don't think ole' Sunny is going to let Jack win without a good run for his money! We know, inevitably, who will win, but for now, Jack begins his sneak attack along about sundown and tries to hold on through the morning hours. Sunshine comes out early each morning and very steadily, like the turtle, and keeps on trying to warm the earth back up. For right now, Jack and Sunny seem to get along ok, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it won't last long.

For now, the deep, luscious greens of summer have disappeared and the golden, oranges and an occasional red have replaced the green. Fall is a time given to us to prepare. We bottle fruit, we clean the house, we bake and we plan. No matter how much I hate to see summer leave us, currently, the scenes surrounding us are magnificent, no matter where you look as summer gracefully slides in to autumn!

It is yet another season...the season for two hearts to become one.. Justine and Laura have dated for quite some time. We all approved of him and waited for him to ask her the all-important question. When he asked her to marry him, the partying began! We had the "cousin shower" at Aunt Georgia's beautiful new house. We tied a quilt and ate dinner then sat down to the presents. When the first bow was tied into Laura's hair, I think Justin wondered if he should turn and run the other way.

Telling the "love story" is fun and exciting, but when we told Justine he had to kiss the bows out of Laura's hair, I had the feeling he wondered if he should get out while the getting was good! However...lots of presents and many, many bows later, I think Justin survived just fine!
Once Laura decorates and puts her mark on the house, Justin will really realize just what a great girl he is getting. Laura is kind and generous, bubblie and happy, beautiful and organized and head over heels for Justin! I think they will be a great couple!
And so, as the colors change, the air changes, and the sun gives in and changes position, allowing Jack to paint his fine colors, Laura and Justin's lives are about to change....for the better! They will both enrich and bless each others lives and will make the world a better, happier place by loving each other!

beautiful analogy of changing seasons and lives. Nothing stays the same - but the differences are always lovely.

Thank you for the kind words. I can't thank you enough for all the help and support that you have given me through out the years and for all that you are doing for the wedding. Thanks again, it's truly appreciated.
