No matter what the weather was or what else was going on in her life, she would leave Max at home to keep the homes fires burning, so to speak -- put Jack in the car after a day of work and head north, usually arriving in Woodland about midnight or later. She would get up the next morning and leave Jack with either Billie Jo or Olivia and she would once again -- head north to Ogden.
School would last all day long and then she would head south again! I-15 has been her constant companion for some time now. There were even times, when she would drive to Logan and stay with Patti and Randi and Patti would keep Jack -- then drive him to Ogden the next day to meet Chelsea, or Chelsea would take Jack with her to Ogden and Patti would come down to pick him up and bring him back in the afternoon. No matter what the situation, the Mazda has put on alot of miles and Chelsea has been under a good amount of pressure.
This has been a goal of Chelsea's -- and she has met it with excellence, graduating Cum Laude...had this last semester's grades been figured in, she would have graduate Magna Cum Laude. We are so very, very proud of her!
Here she is...our little girl! We love you and are so proud of your accomplishments. Thanks to Max, Jack and all the rest of everyone who helped her accomplish her goal! We love you so much!
What better way to celebrate than a good meal at Texas Roadhouse! A pretty decent end to a really great day of celebration!

Thank you for this post! I am so excited for Chelsea and I know how hard going to school is with everything else going on. I can't imagine having to add in the driving! Chelsea really is brilliant, and so hard-working. I'm so glad, Mom and Dad, that you taught us the value of education and the importance of really committing to things. I'm sure there were many opportunities for Chelsea to quit or back out, but being raised the way we were, she knew it wasn't a real option.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful things you have said about me. Hopefully they are all true and I am actually deserving of those kind words. I could not have been able to accomplish what I have without the determination and work ethic you and and Dad have instilled in each of us. Yeah for Chelsea! And yeah for being finished. Whenever I get whining about my crazy life I have to think about Chelsea. She has so many things going on, and always does them amazingly well.
It was an amazing accomplishment for an amazing person. She is brillant and I am so proud of her and wish I had as much ambition as she does. You have always told us to reach for the stars, she definately did that!
Chelsea is seriously my hero! I have no idea how she was able to do all that and stay sane. Only a person like Chelsea would be able to pull it off. She is an inspiration to us all!
