To Celebrate. . . . . Freedom

Evan and Eli are two of the best little farmers around. Can you believe their driving skills?
Jack has to take the wheel to show the younger boys the real skill of driving!

Noah has to share his knowledge of caterpillars with Mia-I think she is impressed??
She was impressed, that is......until Noah decided there was no good use and stomped on it!
Jack worked hard planting potatoes, but his Mom insisted on a bath in the ditch before they began their trip back to St. George. (I think Jack kind of liked the bath in the ditch.)
Jack looks like a different boy after the "skinny dip" in the ditch!
Have you seen those over-sized, enormous, gigantic marshmallows? They are terrible!
I think Noah's marshmallow got the best of him!
There is no way Evan is going to get his mouth around that thing!
But sure is a great way to end a wonderful weekend of celebrating our freedom....yes - freedom to spend our time as we wish, freedom to see our family as often as we want, freedom to plant potatoes and try to teach work ethic, freedom to love this great land and our family!

Yes, first to comment! It was a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Planting the potatoes was just the finish we needed. I love the freedom that I have to live in such a wonderful place and have such wonderful expereinces with my family! You and Dad always know how to bring us together!

WOW! Where do I start? What a fun 4th of July! It has been my dream for a couple of years now to be here in the Kamas Valley for the summer...it is my favorite time of year here. I feel so lucky to be here and be able to spend SO much time with our family.

I love this post. The pictures of the parade are beautiful. You and Dad did a great job in the program, and the potato planting was definitely one for the record books. I'm sorry that you take SO many good pictures that it's hard to get them all uploaded. I love your double-post just the same. Love you!

Oh my gosh, I didn't know you got a picture of the catapiller before the accident. Isn't that just like Noah, to know just what will make someone upset...and do it!

Thanks for all the memories. I am SO glad that we are here, and you are here, to make such wonderful memories together. Love it!
