The McNeil Gang

It's been a really long time since the McNeil family got together.  We actually are in church every week with Dixie, Dorthy, Andrea and all their grandchildren, plus Billie Jo and Olivia and our grandchildren, so we have somewhat of a family get-together every Sunday.  However, as far as a get down and party get-together, we have not done so in a very long time.
Mont mentioned on Facebook awhile ago that he was homesick.  The wheels were in motion...he came home and went to Logan for an Aggie game -- yah...VICTORY -- then went to Jay and Mary Ann to watch Ben play football.  Today he came up to Francis Frontier Days and this afternoon, the whole family got together for a big get-together!
We have not have much of any precipitation all summer (let alone the winter months), so today was the day Mother Nature decided to release the rains "on our parade!"  It rained and rained and rained hard...we gathered at the pavillion at the Woodland Church, and the sun came out!
We had the best time!  Because it had been so long  since we had been together, everyone was anxious and we thoroughly one another!
These are Warren and Fae's great-grandchildren who are 12 and under.  These kids played and played just like they were the best friends.
These are the over 12 gang, who are just a tiny bit reluctant to be in front of the camera! Some of these children are grandchildren while others are great-grandchildren.
These are Warren and Fae's grandchildren.  There are more who were there at one time and others who were not able to attend.  Their ages range from 30's down to 12ish.

And these are the children of Warren and Fae, minus Dixie, who is still being the Fudge Fairy at the Francis Frontiers Days.  I think Warren and Fae enjoyed this day as much as we did!

Thanks so much for planning and carrying out this FUN afternoon. The food was delish, and the visiting was wonderful. It takes a lot of work to keep families together, and I am so thankful you are willing to put in the work!!!!

Thanks for all the hard work you put in to making this event happen. It was a great time and it was wonderful to visit with Uncle DeMont. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!
